HONG KONG - LAN KWAI FONG!!!

Welcome to LAN KWAI FONG, before I start this article, I would like to introduce you a little history behind LKF.

Lan Kwai Fong as an area is defined by D'Aguilar Street and the smaller lane, Lan Kwai Fong, an L-shaped, cobble-stoned lane. Both streets turn 90 degrees to form a rectangle. It is near the Mid-Levels. Its eating and drinking establishments are considered upmarket in price and the area is also considered a tourist spot. From the west side of the rectangle, Wo On Lane and Wing Wah Lane extend to host several more spots for drinks and food. The area arguably extends to Wellington Street and Wyndham Street, through to the Hong Kong Fringe Club. It is also home to a small number of art galleries.

Clubbing and drinking is a must 'DO' in LAN KWAI FONG, even though it could get so crowded and dangerous at night but it was a good experience to see and experience the night life in HK.

History behind the cake :

This chocolate cake is said to be invented in Vienna by the chef Franz Sacher in 1832. It improves if left a day or two before cutting.

What will it be?

Progress of my Art Exam...

I have to think of a summary (outcome) for my 10 hours exam.

I'm trying to stick and draw things on to create an illusion of 3D.  Making my own diary more interesting! :)
Me and The Cheki;s

I have chosen Tenerife for the 1st trip in my diary, so I will be traveling around the Europe then to Asia.
Then go back to Europe , do a 14 days trip in different countries.
The last trip I am planning to do is Hong Kong.

It's been a really really long day! and I am shattered because of doing so much work.
These books keeps me motivated because it inspires me to do work. (Basically).

\

After a long day, Let us just chill.

I was so happy because I had Art and Physics today, which it weren't that bad and I enjoyed all the lessons. so far apart from Spanish.

I bought Bubbleology on the way home because I thought it'd be good to praise myself doing work in lesson and behaving like a Year 11 girl nowadays.

Art Exam - In Progress

I have recently been very busy due to my mock exams, but this won't and never stops me updating my blog.

The Module I've chosen for my art exam was Diary - So I might name it my bijyo diary at the end.
In order to make it more personal.

I've taken this photo in Tsim Sha Tsui - Hong Kong
Victoria Harbour

The tickets I have collected when I went on holidays.

London Stansted Airport - London UK.

Me - Myself and I... ( Taken with Fujifilm Mini8 - Melody and her friends)

Photo Credits to : Charlie Ellis - Photographer

Exploring the world? - Taken in DYCA - Corridor between Art and Science.
Don't even know if I still get a chance taking this picture for the new few months.

This cheki (film) might be a little blurry so I suppose you won't be able to see the word ;
''TRAVELLER''.

Taken in the art corridor ; When I explore and see something I am interested to... this leads me to their ways.

I'm never fed up but I do find it very tiring doing these.
If it's for the exam and for my future, I'd never give up.

149 days to go?

Project started till Christmas;

I don't even know if I've got enough time to do it, as I need a lot of bottles for my project, I have to melt them or make them glow.

Jelly Fish in a Bottle Project | Cool and Simple Craft Projects for Kids by DIY Ready at www.diyready.com/diy-kids-crafts-you-can-make-in-under-an-hour/:

Found this Jelly Fish in a bottle on Pinterest.

What I am thinking is that, I should cut the glow stick and pour the liquid inside into the bottle that I'm going to put the jellyfish...

But there is a problem which I needed my science teacher's help due to the liquid inside the glow stick is TOXIC.

All I need is gloves and goggles, which will protect me from getting harmed.

I literally went to the science corridor and asked for advices lol...

All done - COMPLETED!

Last week was a stressful week but now It is completely opposite!

I used my Fujifilm camera to take Cheki's for my dress and I actually enjoy doing this.

Everyone was looking at me while I was taking pics.

I was going to show these cheki's to my teacher during lesson, But I ended up showing him after school instead.

 I should be proud? should I? :)

I did the dripping bits which I think it might bring the illusion out...
Also It expresses my feelings.

Last week was terrible so I put black ink on the dress which represents my anger.

Red and Orange represents the colour of happiness, I did put a lot of Pink-ish red colours today, Because I knew that this week is going to be ace.

Yellow? I put yellow it is because of SKY-HI and Happy 10 years anniversary :)

I think that's pretty much it for my dress...

I really really love the dripping part and this was actually the first Cheki I took today.
Too cute and the paper actually represents how I did it(even though I binned it afterwards).

Should have kept them :(

There was ink on the floor as well ...

WOULD YOU WEAR IT?

If this was an actual dress, I would wear it and walk around school.

Nearly finished!

Today has been the worst day ever; It shouldn't be but it's a Tuesday.

I will  always remember what happened today.

See my Japanese blog for more info : ameblo.jp/siinkotakeru25

Can't believe that I have finished my  art coursework; absolutely shattered after doing these flowers...

The name of this dress?

I'm naming it : The dress of summer memories.
You might think it is not a very special name but in Japanese It has a very special meaning.

Especially my summer memories in 2015, I went back to Tokyo, Japan after years of studying aboard.
and also, visiting my friends...
I do art, because it cheers me up; releasing the stress...

Ink Drops ; at last I see the light...

Using Orange, Yellow, Blue and all sorts of colours of ink to drip it onto my dress.

Before; need to test the colour on the paper, make sure you use the colour you want.
I actually spent 10 minutes doing it - Effort does pays off.

Think before you drop them because It might not look like something that you expected to look like.

I think I did a really good job in my coursework...

These were the flowers that I made.

A video shows you how I do it.

CrEaMy CaKeS DrEsS From June till now

I really do enjoy doing the dress, It was blue and I liked the colour blue.
And the flowers were in different colour (At first I started my dress);
I did not choose the colours of the flowers, which I think it was my 'matcha' who was giving me advices to do the flowers in Orange, Yellow and White, to let the blue dress stand out.

I think I forgot what happened to me last week, I just started to paint the dress with white paint.

Everyone said it looks great on white paint, but don't you think it's a bit too pale...
Or maybe the colour doesn't stands out that much that I expected?

The colours of the flowers stayed the same though.

Even my 'matcha' thinks it's better in Blue.

This is how I did the flowers.

In the science room.

Lonely.
