Divided not only the city but the world. - MEET BERLIN

Berlin - stands upon the vast European Plain in Northeastern Germany, on the banks of the River Spree

Berlin's history has been one of the most triumph and tragedy, tyranny and transformation, brought to her knees by the two World wars and then divided by The cold war between the East and West Germany (1961-1989).
However, this glittering city has been reemerged to become one of the world's top economic and creative powerhouse.
Furthermore, Berlin enjoys an air spaciousness which is very unusual in European cities, I always see forest and tall trees around me, and the leaves fell off leaving all the tree trunks, giving me an illusion of the forest in Corpse bride(Movie created by Tim Burton).
That grim and dark feeling I must say I have never experienced such things before!

For 28 years, the Berlin Wall - the most potent symbol of the Cold War - divided not only the city but the world.
Twenty-five years after its fall, little remains of the barrier between East and West,
but those seeking to understand its impact needn't look far.

Learning the story of the wall has given me a thought of how valuable freedom is.

Nonetheless, I may not be German or have not been experienced any of the World War but by reading the posts and visiting the exhibitions inside the East Side Gallery, you will finally understand how valuable freedom and money is to East Germany in the past.
They crawl over the walls risking their own life just to cross the border to West Germany - people who get caught will be taken to prisons or somewhere no one knows...

East Side Gallery is a monument to freedom of expression -

Wall murals had previously been a highlight for visitors and a Berlin attraction for years but were only to be found on the western side of the Wall. The artists transformed the grey concrete rearticulating this into a lasting expression of freedom and reconciliation.

Standing next to the Letter 'M' - a priceless artwork in Berlin

Wearing black as this is a black history, a history that no one wants to be reemerged or be told again :)

How I revise for my exams/tests♥

 MAKING NOTES FOR EXAMS?

In case you might have heard me moaning about how much work I do after school; and to keep everything tidy.

I use a clip to secure the notes I made or did in lesson.

I really love this character; It's called Gudetama...which I bought it in Japan and There was this massive store in Tokyo Skytree :)

Method number 1 ;

I love using these colourful papers to make notes so It looks cute and neat on my book.
Because all the exercise books are basically just white papers and if you stick these coloured paper into your book, It makes it stands out a bit more.(Just like it has been highlighted)

Method Number 2 ;

You might want to bullet point everything you know in a piece of paper/record card.
*I usually write down everything I know*
*Bullet points has been coloured*

Then start drawing the diagram(If the topic you're revising has got it )

-Draw the diagram in 4 different colours, in order to make it clear which one is which.

*For example :  Sugar - Green

Then use a blue tack or what ever you've got, it could be any stickers and stick it on your wall,
*Somewhere you see every morning you wake up *

I did it below my favourite poster :)

Flowers...

Black ink drops represent my sadness during the time...
Blue ink drops are tears...
Yellow ink drops covered by blue...
Pink/Red inks are showing my love to the dress...

How ever; There are so many different colours of inks, but you still get a bit of blue ink drops.

These pretty flowers; I made loads...

My friends just wanted to take a selfie with me...

It wasn't that bad :D

All done - COMPLETED!

Last week was a stressful week but now It is completely opposite!

I used my Fujifilm camera to take Cheki's for my dress and I actually enjoy doing this.

Everyone was looking at me while I was taking pics.

I was going to show these cheki's to my teacher during lesson, But I ended up showing him after school instead.

 I should be proud? should I? :)

I did the dripping bits which I think it might bring the illusion out...
Also It expresses my feelings.

Last week was terrible so I put black ink on the dress which represents my anger.

Red and Orange represents the colour of happiness, I did put a lot of Pink-ish red colours today, Because I knew that this week is going to be ace.

Yellow? I put yellow it is because of SKY-HI and Happy 10 years anniversary :)

I think that's pretty much it for my dress...

I really really love the dripping part and this was actually the first Cheki I took today.
Too cute and the paper actually represents how I did it(even though I binned it afterwards).

Should have kept them :(

There was ink on the floor as well ...

WOULD YOU WEAR IT?

If this was an actual dress, I would wear it and walk around school.

Nearly finished!

Today has been the worst day ever; It shouldn't be but it's a Tuesday.

I will  always remember what happened today.

See my Japanese blog for more info : ameblo.jp/siinkotakeru25

Can't believe that I have finished my  art coursework; absolutely shattered after doing these flowers...

The name of this dress?

I'm naming it : The dress of summer memories.
You might think it is not a very special name but in Japanese It has a very special meaning.

Especially my summer memories in 2015, I went back to Tokyo, Japan after years of studying aboard.
and also, visiting my friends...
I do art, because it cheers me up; releasing the stress...

Ink Drops ; at last I see the light...

Using Orange, Yellow, Blue and all sorts of colours of ink to drip it onto my dress.

Before; need to test the colour on the paper, make sure you use the colour you want.
I actually spent 10 minutes doing it - Effort does pays off.

Think before you drop them because It might not look like something that you expected to look like.

I think I did a really good job in my coursework...

These were the flowers that I made.

A video shows you how I do it.
